Privacy Policy
Last updated September 30, 2026. MyVoicePod is operated by Veritas Lessons, LLC. Questions: podcasts@myvoicepod.com.
The short version
You give us three things: your Google sign-in, what you write or dictate for your episodes, and, if you choose, a recording of your voice. We use them to make and publish your podcast and for nothing else. We do not sell any of it, and we do not use your voice or your words to train our own or anyone else's models. You can delete your account and everything in it by asking us.
What we collect
- Account. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address, your name and your profile picture. We use them to identify your account and to reply to you.
- Your show and episodes. The show name, description and cover; the text you type or dictate; the edited versions you approve; the titles; your closing line and writing style notes.
- Your voice. If you record the short script, we store that recording and use it to create a voice model that reads your episodes. The model is private to your account. If you upload a writing sample to shape your style, we keep the resulting style notes and discard the sample itself.
- Listening statistics. When someone plays or downloads an episode, our servers record the country, the app or browser used, the episode, and a one-day identifier derived from the listener's network address and device. We do not store listeners' addresses, and we cannot identify individual listeners from these figures.
- Support. Messages you send through Help, with your email so we can reply.
How we use it
To write, translate, record, publish and distribute your episodes; to show you how they are doing; to answer your questions; to run and improve the service; and to keep it safe, including an automated review of scripts before they are published.
Who else touches your data
We use service providers to run MyVoicePod. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:
- Google for sign-in.
- Cartesia for voice synthesis and, if you record one, your voice model. Your recording and your scripts are sent to Cartesia to make the audio. Cartesia's terms do not permit them to use customer content to train their models.
- Fireworks AI for the language model that edits, translates and reviews scripts. Your text is sent to it for processing and is not used for training.
- Cloudflare for storing and delivering your published files and for listening statistics.
- Fly.io for hosting the application.
Once published, your episodes, cover, show page and feed are public by design. Podcast directories such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music and iHeartRadio copy and cache what they fetch from your feed under their own terms.
Your voice, specifically
Your voice model is created only from a recording you make yourself, after you confirm the voice is your own. It is used only to read episodes of your show. It is never used for other customers, for our marketing, or for training. When you switch back to a house voice, re-record, or delete your account, the model is deleted at our provider and the recording is deleted from our storage.
Retention and deletion
We keep your account and content while your account exists. Published episodes stay published until you take them down or delete your account. Write to us at the address above to delete your account; we remove your account, show, episodes, recordings, voice model and public files. Copies already fetched by podcast apps and directories are outside our control. Backups are overwritten within seven days.
Cookies
We set one cookie to keep you signed in, and the browser may remember interface preferences locally. No advertising or cross-site tracking.
Children
MyVoicePod is for adults running a business or organization. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and by email to account holders.
